Non-Executive Deputy Chairman
Tim Wood joined McInroy & Wood in 2000. He was Managing Director and CEO between 2007 and 2025, working closely with Alan McInroy and Victor Wood, the firm’s founders and former Chairmen.
Tim holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Bristol University and began his career as an analyst at the London Stock Exchange. He became a CFA® charterholder in 2003 and has wide experience in global securities markets, the management of discretionary private clients and fund management.
He became a non-executive director in June 2025. Tim remains focused on the firm’s strategic direction. He sits on the Boards of McInroy & Wood Limited and McInroy & Wood Portfolios Limited, is a member of the Audit Committee and Investment Policy Committee and Chairs the Remuneration Committee. He also serves as a charity trustee.
