Rhona McHugh joined McInroy & Wood in 2025 as Head of HR. She is responsible for the firm’s people strategy and employee experience, bringing a broad range of expertise across multiple HR disciplines.
With over 20 years’ experience in HR, Rhona has developed a broad and diverse skill set. Her career has spanned specialist areas such as Compensation and Benefits at Brodies LLP through to senior HR Business Partnering roles supporting Investment and Client teams at Baillie Gifford. During her time at Baillie Gifford, Rhona gained significant international experience, playing a key role in the establishment of offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Toronto, as well as supporting the expansion of the New York office. In her most recent role, she led the Employee Experience function, building deep expertise in Employee Engagement, Wellbeing, and Diversity and Inclusion.
